what should i do i want a mean sound but i dont want drown in cab when im towing,should i do a muff delete or whole system and what kind

 

I put the MBRP straight through muffler and whacked the cat. Has a nice deep tone. Barely noticeable in the cab when cruising down the road. Can be a little loud under heavy tow. For the most part I like it a lot.

 

straight thru muffler....the no cat/no muff will get on your nerves over long distances

 

I would have to say it was worse on my 03 than my 06 Mega. But the loudest was my 01 straight piped. That was way irritating on long trips. On my Mega you can here it, but just enough to know you modified it.

 

I replaced the muffler with MBRP and left the cat on my 05.
It has a healthy grunt at low speeds but hardly noticable on the road.

 

I did muffler delete from Genos. I love sound. @ highway speeds you can here a little no drone though. When you get on it you can here it then. I going too pull camper this weekend I will let you now how it sounds.
