Espar Cost
Hello Everyone,
I just got a quote from a guy in Calgary AB for a coolant heater.
Espar Hydronic 5 with 7 day timer. ~$2200 cnd. taxes in, not installed.
Is this high? Where is the best prices for these units. A mechanic friend of mine will do the install just need the best price to save for the rest of the mods that are planed. Any hints, don't mind driving alittle?
Thanks

What ever you do stay way away from the Espar distributor in Edmonton. I swear they must have had "frontal lobotomy required" on their help wanted ads. I had some dealings with them through my work and it was no fun at all.

Thanks guys,
Do you have anymore infomation? I am not finding anything usefull with respect to an Espar unit when searching on your reference to Amsoil. Sorry, I am new to the diesel sceen. Mighty proud of the monster Dodge, it just needs to keep it starting in -30 degrees celcius. Thanks for the heads up on the Edmonton dealer...that was the next option in my limited "where to find it" list.
I know that its probablly worth the $2200 dollars but some change left over would really help the roll cage fund.
Thanks again.
