engine won't start

hi,

my dually 3500 with 5.9l do not start. I change starter, new battery and it won''t crank. In the dash after waiting for the glow plug i start it, it does a litle clunk nose and the battery and fuel guage go all the way to the left and vibrate, after 2sec. every thing cut off no more power (12v)).

need help before send it to dealer.

thank you

Sounds like you have dead batteries, a bad ground, or loose connection. Double check all the connections and put the batteries on a charger for 8-10 hours, then try again.

Ok turn lights on and try to start it. If lights dim and go out its a dead battery. if the lights are bright and dont change when you turn key. You may have a loose wire or put them on backwards on the starter or a bad starter. Did it start after you put it in? Oh and new parts often fail right away. Mostly they are refurbs and go by the testing stage. Bt fail right away
