Engine surging on light throttle with Edge J/A

Engine surging on light throttle with Edge J/A
So I've ntoiced lately that with the Edge set on level 4 and on the throttle very lightly the engine will give a sudden surge of power then abruptly cut off.
Anyone else experience this? Any thoughts? Edge or APPS?
