Thumbs up engine monitor??

Is there a product that i can use to just monitor EGT,Boost,Trans temp?
Plug into computer
I have the 04.5 600HO

i dont want to put in gauges
AND
I dont want to void warranty!!!( i have 6 years left)

Just would like to monitor these functions when towing my travel trailer!!

Why doesnt dodge put a stock tranny temp in the cluster??

bd makes an x-monitor that shows all three but you will have to install the sending units. I believe it runs around $400-500.

I have an X-Monitor on my 04.5. You can see a picture of it in my gallery. The trany temp is just clipped to a wire on the ecm. the boost tubing is connected to a replacment bolt on the side of the engine where the air goes in after it goes through the innercooler. The thermocuple for the egt has to be mounted either in the exhaust manifold before the turbo or in the exhaust pipe just after the turbo. It requires drilling and tapping.

pre turbo is more accurate, post will read way low at high levels. for example if preturbo=1400 degrees post will be between 9-1100 degrees and is slower to show changes in temp.

i also say pre turbo is better, but if you are real scared about warrenty denial, go post but as close to the turbine outlet... lots of high temp antiseize on the threads so you can remove it later... with no fueling mods, post will be fine... when the fueling mods start, pre turbo would be a very wise idea
