I just got a 2007 5.9 crew cab with 71k miles this past week. Got a question. She had been parked for around 24 hrs and I went out and ran down to the go mart and it seemed to be missing alittle bit. First time its done it so far. It was in the upper 90's here when it happened. I only drove it a couple miles and came back because i am at work. Is that missing normal in that kind of heat for it to miss alittle bit? It was not a bad miss just alittle bit.

Absolutely not. Sounds like one of your injectors isn't injecting. When that happened on mine, at just under 100k miles, the dealer replaced the dead injector under warrantee.

Check your oil just in case too, should not be over the "full" mark and should not smell like diesel.

 

Congratulations on the new truck. Have you changed out the fuel filter yet?
