Welcome aboard MDP.

I really can't help you with the motor type other then it should be listed on the side of your valve cover on the motor. I think it will either say 305 or 325 for hp.

Go to the CP section and fill in info about your truck and stuff. It will help others help you in the future.

Any way, welcome.

quick check if exhaust is stock, will have a cat on the 325, not on the 305. looking at the turbo the 325 has electronic wastegate control.

The 10th digit is a 4, so that means the truck is an 04. With a C in the 8th digit, it's either a 600 (325/600) or the HO (305/555). It's not a SO, but you'll need to post more info.

Check the door jamb for the build date, if you can't see the sticker on the side of the engine as was suggested.

I found the truck on autotrader.com, so I limited to what I can see. I think it's a 600 because it has the newer steering wheel. I think they changed it in 04.5. I had an 03, so if the seller will just send me some more engine pics I could tell by an overhead engine shot no problem.

Thanks

You have the High output 325/600 the c in the 8th postion is the 600 series. When going to part stores they will ask you what motor you have. You have the C motor. But just look at the door 1/04 or after is the 325/600
