I'm at about 3000 hours for 150K miles - 50 mph.

How do you do the check? I remember something about turning ignition on to first position and holding down the trip button until you see hours? This right?

Yes but make sure it's on the odometer, not trip meter before you do it.
BTW did you notice any difference with your rokktech? Thinking of getting one, just dont know yet..

It was a tough to tell any power or torque difference, but I saw an MPG gain. At least 1mpg. I used to get 13-14 occasionally 15 mpg in the city, but now unless I run extremely short trips and drive hard, I get 17. I would try it- it is 69 bucks, even if you don't notice much you will probably get the advantages they claim on the web:
"This crankshaft sensor perfectly replaces the stock Cummins sensor, allowing for adjustable timing without codes or a voided warranty.

Adjustable up to 2 degrees, in 0.1 degree increments, it improves mileage, increases torque and power, reduces exhaust temperature, and reduces greenhouse gases and smoke (even with larger injectors).

Undetectable, will pass emissions testing. Includes instructions."

The mpg gain would be what I would be looking for. My commute is 60mi/day. Course any extra power or tq gains would be quite welcomed when i'm towing. Thanks for the reply, I might give it a shot. Also I just noticed you run Silent Armour tires, what do you think of them??

What are the other weird numbers that show up along with the hour's, codes? I looked today and had about 3 or 4 different numbers flashing by, I only have 3,700 miles on, and the engine light has never come on, so I wouldn't think they would be code's but I could be wrong.

Do it again and write down the #'s, then post here and we will see what they are.

OK here is what I saw

"S or a 5 35" I am assuming this was the hours.

"= 315" the two lines were actually a litlle farther apart but this is the closest key i could find to show them.

" [ 542" the "[" actually looked more like a "C" but once again closest key I could find to show it.

this is on a 2007 2500 with 5.9 and auto trans. Thanks.
