engine block heater?

my truck did not come with a plug for a block heater. some where i heard that every engine has the heater already and that my truck just nees to have a plug installed. is this true? and if it is true where does the plug wire hook up. if this is not true, how hard would it be to install an engine block heater.

easy install. the end of the block heater cord plugs into the left side of the engine.(kind of across from the oil filter, under the exhaust mainifold) dodge dealership will charge you around 45.00 bucks for the cord. under 12.00 bucks here.
