ECM trouble
Went to start, cranked great but would not hit. Took to shop and they said ECM is bad, probably from race box. Anyone experienced this? The box has been on for 9 years so find it hard to believe.

It happens, but I would also be looking at power and grounds to ECM. If that checks good and there is no communication to module then most likely ECM. Also with add on module such as you have I would completely remove from vehicle and then retest before replacing ECM.

They are saying that the connector at the harness is wore out, keeps throwing several codes P1652 is one of them but they can wiggle it and get it to work. Does this sound right? Talking about a new harness.
