Angry eaton elocker

just grumbling and venting my frustration with eaton.....
they gave us an eta of 4-30 on our shipment... no callback yesterday ast to why it wasnt here.. today... well lets just say, id look twards an alternitive traction scource... we cant get a strait answer yet , byt my guess is they wound up not doing the production run that they had scedualed...

i guess hopefully the suply of ARB's doesnt dry up...

me, i guess when i do the hub conversion ill just grab a detroit off the shelf and call it good. who needs all the fancy selectable stuff any ways!

Do not know if this happens on other front ends, but on Detroit equipped front ends in a Toyota Rock Crawler, if an axle or Birfield joint let’s go it usually takes out the Detroit. Also with a non-selectable locker on a heavy vehicle the steering sucks when the hubs are locked and it is in 4 wd, especially in tight places.

is this supposed to be a new eaton e-locker that bolts right, in or does this one need for the housing to be modified?

If its the chevy locker you need to grind alot of material out of the housing..trust me I know because I did all the grinded to make mine fit when we put it in.
