Can anyone tell me if eaton makes a 6 speed transmission for an 06 3500 2wd?

 

As in Eaton-Fuller?? Um no.

You'd probably have to cut the tunnel out or raise the body to get a small medium duty truck tranny in there.

It begs the question....why?

 

257000 miles and my tranny is on the way out. Right now it just makes noise in neutral, 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear. Shifts fine, pulls fine and it doesn't jump outta gear. Changed the fluids recently plus added motorcoat. It was making some noise before I changed the fluids. So I'm looking for a stronger tranny than the Mercedes. I used it as a hotshot so it's under some kinda load 90% of the time.
