E rated mud tires
I wanted to get some mud tires for my truck to fit the stock rims[maby 295 or something like that] but I need the load capabilitys of the E rated tires for hauling my gooseneck trailer. What do u guys recomend for these situations. I was looking at some bfg mt's and toyo open country mt's

I had a set of Firestone Destination M/T in 265 70 R17 E rated on my 04.5'. They worked good for pullin' and muddin'. Don't know if they have bigger sizes though. Good Luck

They have the highest weight rating of any 295 M/T I could find. It's somewhere around 3800lbs per tire. The 295's don't even come close to rubbing on a stock truck. IMO they should be the stock size tire for our trucks.

Toyo's are E rated , great in mud and snow with no rubbing on my 3500 SRW with 295's . I have had some big loads on them with no problems and they have 20,000 miles on them so far with little wear . Down side , you will need to rotate every 5,000 to prevent cupping and they do howl a little . A pricey tire , expect to spend between 300 to 350 a tire and to wash your truck a lot more , they throw dirt . I will put them back on mine when this set is tired , I like them that much .

ITS BECAUSE OF THE AFTERMARKET AFFSET AND BACKSPACING. I HAVE 315/70/17'S BFG AT'S ON STOCK RIMS. NO LEVELING KIT AND NO RUB. AS SOON AS I MOUNTED THEM ON AFTERMARKET RIMS, AND MOUNTED ON THE TRUCK, THEY WERE HITTING BOTH FRONT AND AFT OF CENTERLINE OF HUB.
