Dumb question about exhaust system

I found a great deal on a Stainless magnaflow 15957. Its for a long bed and I own a short bed. I didnt notice that part till I bought it. I am assuming I can just cut the long pipe. Or is it not going to work at all. I also have delete pipe.

Yeah, just cut and weld. I did that for my exhaust system. I would recommend getting a few small pieces of metal that is the same thickness and adding it to the joint to make it stronger.

Or, if you are cool and live somewhere that can do this, take it to a semi repair shop that has capability to spread that size pipe instead of doing a butt weld.

The tubing isnt expanded out. I am guessing I can just cut that long tube and just use a universal hanger off a clamp if it doesnt line up. I guess I really should eyeball it first and go from there. But for 295 I couldnt go wrong buying set up. Its brand new I am guessing over rear end isnt a different size
