DTR Truths

1. Buy gauges

2. When your auto takes a dump buy a Goerend.

3. When your clutch goes south, buy a South Bend.

4. When you think you need more power buy a Smarty.

5. The vent tube will save you time filling all the way up. Just don't park it in the sun for 50 miles.

6. Buy a lift pump no concenses as to which is better AD or FASS. We haven't come together if it's better to drop the tank or raise the bed.

1. My truck had a Edge J/A installed when I bought it, gauges covered

2. I was smart enough not to buy an auto. Thank you.

3. I'll be getting to that in a little bit.

4. See #1 it is good enough for me.

5. I'll be working on that.

6. I haven't done it yet but AD is going to get my money.

Now back to #3 I went to the SB site and they really don't get me all wet to buy their product. Don't get me wrong with all the great revues they get I'll buy one. Which one I'm going to spend my money on is not so clear. I guess I need them to buy a few drinks, dinner and a movie before I'm giving it up. I'll call them today and make a decision.

A better description and differences between the models would be nice.

I have fly wheel questions, questions between the DD and single disks stuff like that.

Hell I'll call them now back east should be awake.

Take the bed off. No problems with the 1/4 tank issues if you do it like that... I've done both.
