Thumbs down Door Seals

I have had my door seals changed twice now and the new ones were definetly different than the original set and I still get really bad wind noise out of this truck. I have all Fords for my company and despite the fact that they are Fords they are really quite, this wind noise is almost unaccectable for a 50,000 truck and I know of a few friends with 06's and they have the same problem, question is do I live with it or is there a fix??

I think I've heard from a few guys a while back fixing that problem just by "tweaking" (read: yanking the top of the door toward the center of the truck) the top of the door to increase pressure on the door seal ... KISS principle ...

But, wait until they chime into confirm that one ... may just be a distant memory in my little head.

I have read that adjusting the door at a body shop or as you say tweaking the top section into the cab helps immensly. I would prefer to try adjusting it first before "Teaking" anyone have any advice on adjusting the door?? I have never looked at the hinges do they have adjustment to move inward towards the cab?? Is the adjustment on the door side or cab?? Thanks in advance.

The hinges don't move the doors do. you have to loosen all the door bolt's exept the bottom one on the bottom hinge. the top bolt might not move because the washer is glued form the factory. Then you just pull the door in. Play with it you might not get it right the first time. If this dosen't work you can roll down the window and pull the top of the door in (AKA Teaking).

I had mine adjusted at the dealer under warranty and it helped some. Mainly it's the drivers door when the wind is coming from the passenger side across the roof. Also, it's worse when the A/C fan is blowing. Tonight I drove about 40 miles with a fierce wind (up to 60 mph gusts) and it was really loud.
