so as long as I stay under 40 psi I should be ok. thank you. I really did not want to spend money on that right now. Also it will not hurt it when I tow?

I would try to limit your time above 35 psi, but many have taken them to 40 without issue.
Towing it will produce higher drive pressure, but nothing that will do more than limit efficiency under 35 psi of boost.
The Smarty Jr doesn't use the WG at all, and lots of people running around with it turned off and not having issues.

I have an 05. it is throwing both the p0111 and the p0236. my cheapie reader has live data at 36.98psi map and -40 f not running , what does that mean? short in wire harness or the map iat sensor?

The P0111 points to a bad IAT sensor (pre-turbo), and the P0236 points to a bad MAP sensor (intake manifold). I would check the connections on both (do you have a module, like Edge?) and replace the MAP first.

i have a cheap scanner but it lets me check and clear codes and read live data. since it is reading 75.3 inhg of pressure and -40f i am wondering if it is shorted? it instantly shows the codes after i clear them
