Does the DMF syncronize when starter engages?

Hey there! Does the Dual Mas flywheel engage or syncronize when you start the truck? I am just starting to get a vibration/noise of sorts when I START the truck. No smoke or rough idle and its not engine related. You can't hear a thing from the outside or under the hood. Its a 'feel' when you engage the starter. Thanks!

No, the DMF actually is a plate that just bolts to a flexplate like an auto tranny does. That's why it is called dual mass because you have two plates.

with springs that will rattle as they weaken.........Once they start to get loose they will continue to get louder with use.
