DMF causing codes?

I'm thinking so. The DMF is about to take a leave of absence on it's own. This week it finally got to shaking bad enough to order a dual disc from South Bend. Sometimes right after starting while still at idle it throws P0302 and P0341 and sometimes the code for #5 miss fire. On the way home today can't go over 56 mph or about 1800 rpm. Looked in the gap at the bell housing and see a spring the size of a small block Ford valve spring and two tapered roller bearings.

This is on my 2006.

I used to work on Porsches and can tell you that on a 996 a bad dmf can cause a misfire code.
