Went looking at the trans lines to see if there was a spot to cut in a temp manifold (2003 2500 HO). I traced the front trans line to amanifold like device just behind the fuel filter. A few other lines go in there aslo. Does anyone know what this is. Service manuals have not come in yet.

That's the water-to-oil cooler (or heat exchanger) for the trans fluid. Fluid leaves the transmission, goes through this heat exchanger, then up to the air-to-oil cooler in front of the radiator, then finally back to the transmission.
