68+ Vibration w/6 sp. manual tranny?

With regards to the vibration above 68 mph... has anyone found that this is also happening with 6 speed manual trannys, or has it only been happening with the automatics? I have an '04' dually diesel 6 speed manual on order, and was just wondering if I might run into this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I took 2 trucks on a road test both 6 speeds, 1 -555 and 1- 600 and neither one had any noticable vibration and I specifically drove at highway speeds to see if it was there. I bought the 555 and have a thousand mostly highway miles on it now and still no vibration noticed.

My 03 6 speed had the vibe at 70 mph. The TSB was just performed with weighted hose, took the vibe out of the steering wheel, but can still be felt in the accelerator pedal.

I have an 03 with 6 speed tranny. I took it to the dealer and they found out that the drive shaft was bent from the factory. It vibrated between 65 and 70. I thought it was the tranny but they proved me wrong. Evidently that was a fairly common problem several years ago, according to them.
