Dodge vs GM AAM hub differences?
Dodge vs GM AAM hub differences?
Odd question, but thought maybe someone here might know...
I'm researching converting an early model corporate 14bolt to disc brakes using late model hardware. I know it is possible with GM AAM 10.5 hubs, rotors, backing plates and a little fabrication, but what about Dodge AAM 10.5 hubs? Will they fit on a GM spindle? I've been searching around the net and haven't found any conclusive answers. Anyone?
Thanks

For the most part the axles are the same.....except the GM version uses what those guys call the "Gov Bomb" ....the limited slip apparently has a reputation for grenading while the Dodge unit has very few problems with it's differential. Give Sadler Powertrain a call.....they're extremely helpful and an authorized AAM dealer.
