diff tranney in a 3500?

I have a 03 single wheel 3500 4x4 auto, and was curious to know if there is a dif in the 2500 and 3500 trannys. The reason for my ? is that i am purchasing a buuly dog power pup and have bn told from sum dodge mechanic friends of mine that programmers are hard on the stock trannys and make them go out. but seening as i have over 250k on my truck im sure my tranny has bn rebuilt. Thanx 4 the input

Yes they are the same transmission. Yes the programmers will tear them up. Personally I'd go with the Smarty programmer over Bully dog. Either one will demolish a stock transmission.

some 03's had the 47 and some had the 48 so yes a 2500/3500 could have different tranny's
