Diff Capacity and torque specs Please!!

OK...Here are the numbers as they are printed in the Dodge service manual;

11.5 rear axle capacities

open diff=142 oz
limited slip=135 oz

divide the ounces by 32, and you get quarts.

open diff=4.44 quarts
limited slip=4.22 quarts

Like I said, these numbers are out of the Dodge service manual. I have yet to change my diff fluids, so I can't speak from real world experince. When I do change the rear, I plan on installing a Mag-Hytec diff cover, so these numbers will just be a starting place. Hope this helps.

not trying to pick a fight or say that your wrong.....I was just stating they I have never 4.22 quarts for the rear, thats all

You can pick one up from Geno's garage in hard copy or on CD-Rom.
