Did I kill it?
My 04.5 ecm. I was fooling around with the dash the other day, installing some wiring for my sirius radio and shorted out the glove compartment light somehow. Heard some nasty fuse blowing sounds down toward the fuse area, and figured thats all it was, a fuse. Now my truck wont start. Cranks like wild but seems likes not geting fuel.
Fass is pumping 16psi like normal. Gets a little bit of fuel but, up to 300 rpm, like its going take off and start, then nothing again.
Can still erase codes though, which were my normal overboost codes etc. But still produces p0541?
Any ideas?
My next truck WILL have a 12 valve in it.

I think that there is some type of main fuse or relay that controls all engine functions. Might you have blown that. I'd check. Remember when working on electrical items that all recommendations are to disconnect the batteries first just for the reason you posted about in your Sirius install. Shorted wire can equal carnage.
