Delo 400-red cap bottle
What`s the deal with the red cap? Does it mean there is less zinc in the product so the cats are not damaged?
I have run out of the older DELO.
Just concerned since we all have flat tappets for the cam.
Tried to do a search with no success...................Even tried to find the MDSS on Chevron`s site.
Do I need more ZDDP added to the oil----------------------THANKS.

The "M" in MSDS was found to be immaterial, therefor it is now called SDS. Try the Chevron Safety Data Sheets site for ALL Chevron SDS needs.

I use CamGuard in my airplane (independently documented benefits). They make a formulation for diesels. Anyone using it?

This is back in Feb 2015-over 2 years ago
Is that the stuf with the RED CAP?
Just what does that mean in terms of ppm.
Just does NOT tell me a **** thing!

a couple of years ago everyone was panicking over the switch from CI-4 to CJ-4, the "on paper" specs were changing and zinc was disappearing.. the actual performance of the oil however increased, as it did with this latest CK oil ..
