I had a local parts store clear the codes for me. Problem is he pressed the 'erase' before scrolling through all the codes so I am not sure how many were there, but I did see P0193. Funny thing is I check with the key after driving home and the SKIM key codes are there again.
53 ******, the basic AE tool looks good for the price. I do have a laptop so that might be the way to go. Did you also get the Chrysler Enhancement? I saw access to a lot of stuff listed with the enhancement, including Accessory Delay and Injector Kill Test, but it is not clear if you can change any settings or only access what the settings/status are.
It does say on their site that it gives you "...system/component-level bi-directional controls..." but that is kinda vague.
Edit: I also just notice Tire Size Program and Tire Diameter. Hmmm...this is interesting stuff and might be worth a call to the company to find out.

This is a quote from the Ebay ad:
"Bi-Directional support. Support for factory-level system tests and component actuations available".
Maybe I am reading too much into this, but it sure sounds promising. If it is true, I will definately be buying one. I probably will anyway, but these features would seal the deal right now.

anyway I will call Jay on Monday
WOOT WOOT
I just figured out not only can you do the injector kill test, you can also...
Change the high idle set point..rpms from 500,1000,1500 or even 2,000rpm
lift pump relay actuation!!! you can turn it "on" "off" or "toggle" it!!!
you can do the same with the transmission overdrive, trans relay and trans TCC...hmm that sounds like you could have a laptop trans lock-up switch!
I have not run the injector test yet I will do it and report back!!!!!
there are a few other actuations on here too....
does anybody know how to do a screen shot???
then I can just paste it here!!!
BTW this can ONLY be done if you buy the enhanced Chrysler software...
I bought just the enhanced powertrain package..that works too and is a little cheaper.

Now you're talkin'. Both packages together run about $600 if I'm not mistaken. I don't know about you guys, but I'm sure I've ****** off that much in guesswork, time, pain, sorrow, and agony. Sounding more reasonable all the time.
yeah I bought the scantool about 1.5 years ago...but just got the Chrysler enhanced powertrain a few months ago.
the actuations are kinda hard to find thats why I did not see them originally
but once I called AE they help me figure it out over the phone...

This is great news. I will be ordering soon. I might even get the full Chrysler enhancement. With that I think you get access to the body control module, which has the acc. delay, etc....

$210 shipped for tool + $230 for the full Chrysler expansion = $440!!!
I think that is a steal with all the available features.
you may want to call them and make sure you can change those things(acc delay) with the full package...some things dont work...so it may be worth the call...
