Dealer ECM software update?

i just got a bully dog tripple dog downloader to try for the weekend and i go to load the newest software off the bully dog website up to the truck and the screen says that i there is a new update for my truck and to see your dealer prior to uploading the bully dog software... so i call the dealer this morning and they say that it will take an hour and cost 95 dollars?????
does that sound normal?
it is an 2006
any thoughts?
thanks

If there is a TSB for the update you can complain about the problem others complained about and they should update it if you are still under warranty. But be sure you want what it installs. When I had a bullydog tri dog it said I had an update also but it didnt interfere with me runnin the tri dog. Besides I didnt want the reverse horn honk feature any way it would of been nice though to get the temp sensor rational fixed. Newer software from the dealer isnt always better!!
