Dealer charges for loose fuel lines?

Truck wouldn't start just turn over, towed to the dealer and he replaced both batteries and said the fuel lines where loose causing it to not start.

Has anyone heard of this? Thanks!

If the fuel lines are loose enough, the pump will not be able to build enough pressure and the computer won't fire the injectors. I think the minimum is somewhere between 4000 and 5000 PSI.

Im not good with this stuff but with loose lines wouldnt there be some fuel dripping or air getting sucked into the filter?
It would be interesting if you find out what lines were "loose".

More than likely they were talking about the crossover tubes being loose. If they leak the head routes the bypassed fuel out the back to the fuel tank.
