Dashboard issues

Hey guys, did a search to see if anyone else has had this problem and found nothing so here it is.....

I've been having some problems with my 07' 5.9L, earlier this year it had a fuel system failure that ended up in the dealer replacing the injection pump. I had been running the Smarty on level 3 (100hp). I pulled it off when the running issues came up. I have not since re-installed the smarty (theres some issue with it where it is vin locked to my vin but wont reload) so I am running basically stock except for an intake and 5" exhaust.
I have barely used the truck during the entire summer/fall and just dusted her off to deal with the white stuff around here this time of year. Initially I was getting a code for the grid heater curcuit not see proper voltage?? Cant remember the code # or the exact verbage but I do know it would not reset at first and I know that the grid heater was indeed working.
So I've been driving the truck daily and eventually I was able to clear the grid heater code and it hasnt come back. Now the truck every once and awhile after you first start her and get underway all the idiot lights will come on, the tach and speedo will drop to zero for a second and the chime will sound. This will happen basically within a minute of getting underway and then thats it. As I continued to drive her daily the dashboard ritual has expanded to doing it several times during a longish (hour) trip and now to doing it every couple of minutes. Tonight it actually expanded to include the radio turning off then back on along with the dash. The temp, fuel, volt meter actually continue to operate while the chime sounds and the idiot lights come on. It doesnt seem to effect the engine running but it is a bit disconserning while driving down the highway.
Has anyone heard of such failure? Truck has only 40k on the clock but for this problem obviously not covered under warranty.

No one has heard of this?? The problem has expanded to the engine not turning over when I turn the key in the morning. After I fiddle with it and turn it full back and fourth a few times she fires up.

Wow.

I may be able to help with the Smarty. If the dealer reflashed when you had it in, and you hadn't returned the truck to stock, it won't link to the VIN. There's a warning in the book about it.

The dash thing sucks.

Truck died today at work, went to start it and it would not crank. Noticed key fob not working either. Checked battery in key and it was fine. Decided to dissconnect the batteries to rest the ECU and once I did that the fob worked again. Now the truck would turn over but would not fire (no fuel pressure either) blinking check engine while cranking. Checked the connnectors and grounds around the engine and ECU, checked all the fuses. Now the engine started, it set 4 codes (which i dont have in front of me right now). I'm guessing at this point that i have a ground issue in or around the TIPM. I will post back once I nail it down.

I did back it out to stock before bringing in. There seems to be an internal eror in the Smarty, I'm supposted to send it back in to Bob Wagner but I havent got around to it.

****UPDATE*****

Looks like there where some loose connections left by the last tech that worked on the truck last year when the injector pump was replaced. I went over all the grounds and pulled all the connectors on the TIPM and used contact cleaner on all the connections. Seems to be good now.

List of codes it thru last night
