if one should have a problem with a new cummins,would a authorized cummins repair center honor dc/cummins warranty,i just think we would be better served at a engine shop for those types of problems.thank you for your help.

 

DC owns the warranty, Cummins has waived it.

There have been instances of problems the Dealership couldn't handle and they referred service to the local Cummins shop, and warranty paid for it.
This is rare though, so don't expect it.

Dodge fixed their electronics in the last year or two so that Cummins equip will not troubleshoot them.
i have had to turn to Cummins and my wallet a few times for service because of Dodge dealerships not knowing What was wrong or how to fix it.
