Hello: I have 06 2500 diesel. My cruise control will turn off for no reason and then come back on again at random? If I turn it off it will still come on when it wants? Any Ideas Thanks

 

Maybe the brake switch is deactivating it? Loose?

Worth a try thanks Hub I'll check it when I get home as I drive a honda to work Ram makes run to New Mexico every weekend. I think dealer changed out brake switch on warranty about 25000miles back so first place to look

 

Also could be the clock spring in the steering column.

 

It Wouldn't resume on it's own if it were something to do with the brake switch.
