You had better check the legality of using "Heim joints" on the street. They are not D.O.T. approved. Unless they are the high dollar joints they will wear out faster then a good TRE (not Dodge).

DT heim joints: good

rod ends (any grease packed joint): bad.

Not all heims are created equal. Everyone who had a heim wear out quickly on a street truck is using crappy parts. Don doesn't use crappy parts. With steering and suspension parts, often the joint is what drives the cost up, which is why so many companies use cheap crap.

You hit that one right on the money. I paid $75.00 a piece for the ones that are on the full hydro steer on my rockcrawler.

Give bulletproof suspension a call. I put their system on my truck, and it is awesome! No noise, very tight, and great customer service.

Regardless who's kit you decide to go with, you'll use the factory tie rods as fishing weights!! The difference is night and day.
