crazy wobble

i've noticed that when i hit bumps in the road, the tires shake back and fourth. Tonight, the truck went crazy and didnt let up. The steering wheel was jerking back and fourth and wouldnt stop until i slowed way down. I have a 6" with a 2" spacer on top...adjustable track arm...dual steering stabalizers....37" Kuhmos. What do you think it could be?

May have something to do with all this stuff, "6" superlift with 2" revtek leveling kit; 37/13.50/22 Kuhmos; 22/12 Rockstars".

I would start by climbing underneath with a hand full of wrenches and making sure all the nuts and bolts are tight. If that does not solve it then I would look at the ball-joints and see if they are loosening up and need to be replaced. Vehicles are not over-built like in the old days, now days most things are built to just over spec for how the vehicle is designed. Hanging big heavy, wide tires, and the added leverage of the suspension lift can loosen things up quick.

If the Superlift is built anything like the ones they build for Toyotas. It is junk in my opinion.

I have a similar setup with the Superlift & dual stabilizers, but not revtek leveling kit. I started to get a little wobble @ 45mph after hitting uneven pavement. So, I installed a Defiant steering support and the wobble is gone. Have a Thuren track bar on the way and I'm confident my steering will soon be bulletproof. Thuren highly recommends that your track bar drop bracket be welded and fortunately mine is. Make sure everything is tight.

This is a common problem typically with larger tires. Make sure your tires are balanced good. Watch out for those rail road tracks. Good luck.

I have pretty much the same set-up as you. I battled death wobble the entire summer. I was going to mention make sure you get the SS (silver Zinc) monotube gas cylinders for the superlift steering stabilizer and not the Superide hydraulic (white), but judging by your sig you already have them. Did you have the truck aligned after the lift and did they give you a print the alignment specs? I specifically asked the tech at the shop to set my caster at 5 degrees positive or as close as possible. Ultimately what cured it for me were 2 new front tires (with balance of course), a new tie rod end, upgrading the steering stabilizer shocks, and a good alignment. I hope this helps. I know how frustrating it can be.
