Coolant leak? Cant find it! Help!

So I see what looks and smells to be coolant spitting off the from front of the block...right by main belts. Its on the air box...intercooler pipes...down on the connecting rods and pretty much everything! When the fan is blowing its just kickin it off everywhere...cant see where its coming from tho?! My reserve tank was a little low(obviously) so I added some coolant...this happen to anyone else? Thanks is advance!

ya, normally these engines are pretty good, if it isn't the water pump, cheap and easy to fix, or a rad hose, its usually something stupid. the fan moves alot of air around under the hood, it will spray a small leak everywhere.

CHeck the overflow hose, its a common problem for them to leak(and actually your coolant level in the overflow tank might go down some)
Thats the first thing I fixed on my '05 when I bought it(and my new to me '07)
Just pop a hose clamp on there and no more dribble down the front...

I had the same issue as Pullin hard did, the idler pulley rubbed thru the upper rad hose on the bottom side, then the belts, fan, sprayed coolant in the same spots as you describe. Mines a 03, must be an issue with some of these trucks.

Check the weep hole at the water pump. If there is fluid leaking there and you are under 100,000 miles take it in and use your motor warranty, otherwise save your coin and go to cummins and by a new water pump and do it yourself.
