commonrail to 12 valve swap.
This is a swap I considered, and passed on because of all the electronics. As to the why? Get rid of a lot of the electronic and electric engine controls and components. Dead alternator? Keep driving till you get to where you can repair it. Injectors? A fraction of the price... Lots of reasons to like the 12 valve.
Oh, and if you have an auto, there are controllers available, but I was thinking of trying to get a 47rh instead.
Too bad I'm an electrical clutz...

03 engine is dead.2 valves block split cylinder3 .a valve failure and prev owner ran truck till complete failure.as for electronics keep 03 computer use 03 senders install cam sensor in 92 for alt and tack and the 6 speed man should shift fine.Alco need injectors out of 03 for my other ram.ps have to swap the o3 cam gear into the 92 for cam sensor.had a guy in the shop yesterday who did all this with an 01 works great now 2 years running and the check eng light is not even on in truck.
