I have an 05 cummins and I have yet to locate the cold engine block heater plug. Can someone please tell me where this thing is at? Not that I need it really, just curious...

On my 03 it's a plug that is visible on the front on the passenger side. Some people needed to order a plug.

its next to your oil filter but some truck didnt come with the cord for it so you might need to buy the cord

All the trucks came with the heater itself. The cord was a $10 or $20 option. If you don't have the cord, Dodge will sell you one for $40, or you can buy one from a Fleetguard dealer or even from NAPA for $20 or so. I never needed it & these trucks are rated to start without being plugged in to -20F.

A GREAT reason! If I lived where it got real cold or didn't have a nice garage to park in, I'd plug in also!
