Hello guys and Gals, I don't post here very often but I have been searching the threads for code 0069 and have not found very much info. I did the key trick and got a code 0069 after my CEL came on today. Actually I am not sure if it is a check engine light or check gauges light, but it is yellow and looks like an engine block in the lower middle of the instrument cluster.
I read a few threads about having recently installed a quad, but that is not the case. All I have done to mine is load the SC 3805 Flashpaq and changed to a better air filter. Does anyone know where to look to clear this code? Thanks in advance! BTW, just came on while driving, put it back to stock when I got home, and it cleared it for about 15 miles, then came back on.

Sounds like you need a boost fooler!

 

I am going to check the connection and if that is good, I will remove the boost fooler and see if the codes clear. Thanks I will let you know!

 

Pulled the bf and code cleared. I havent driven it yet but I bet it's fixed. Do you think that boost fooler is doing me any good anyway?

 

Should be, if you are building more boost than factory! Most downloaders don't boost fool if I remember correctly.

 

It sure seemed to help after the 3805, but not much before it. I think it did lower egts pulling the trailer loaded though, even without the programmer. Guess I better order another one!

 

Call quad! Was the light on? May have just been a poor connection, and maybe it still has some sort of warranty on it?! Worth dropping a dime though!
