Clutch and LSD questions
Clutch and LSD questions
I've got a little over 110,000 miles on my truck now and my limited slip is completely shot and I'm starting to worry about my clutch. Any throttle going around a turn will ignite the inside tire and if I jack up just one rear wheel it's easy as pie to spin the one in the air. Is there anything I can do about this short of buying a new limited slip?
As far as the clutch I'm just curious how long the stockers usually last. I've got a Smarty Jr that lives on the tow setting, no cat, aeroturbine muffler, 6.7L air filter, CFM+ intake and 285s. I drive gently most of the time and tow every couple of days but usually just 4-5000lbs. Generally a pretty gentle life for what some of you guys do with your trucks. I haven't felt the clutch slip at all, I'm just curious. Thanks for the input.
