Clutch issues
Clutch issues
Hi All,
early 2004 dodge 6 speed (305/555)
200,000 kilometers and the stock clutch is acting funny...
Backing the truck up with lots of "bumps" of the clutch pedal it will stay partly engaged. Shift to neutral let the clutch all the way out sit for a sec, press clutch back in, will then slip back into gear without a problem.
Just regular driving, intermittent difficulty getting it into gear from neutral as the clutch seems to keep dragging.
The problem is intermittent, I can replicate it consistently by getting on and off the clutch (example: when backing up in a tight spot)
Ever heard of a Dakin (Performance) clutch?
Any good?
I have heard of a South Bend...
