circulation heater

Has anyone installed a circulation heater? Something like one of these;

seems like it may be a good alternative. They are dirt cheap compared to an Espar and as long as you have electricity they should work. Any thoughts on plumbing?

I haven't used one of those before. But I did install the one that goes in the lower radiator hose in my gas silverado last year. It worked fine even at the -30 to 50 we had.

IMHO, Espar is the only way to go for pickups. I've heard through multiple contacts that they have the least amount of problems.

I would like an Espar but for 1/10th the price and myself being near electricity 99% of the time this may be the answer. I'm going to look into it when I get home from this shift.
