Chrome clad steel wheels

I looked for this subject in search & did not find what I was looking for.

I was wondering how these wheels will hold up(Rust & corrosion) after
years of going down dirt roads & such with all kinds of gook working its way
between the wheel & the chrome?

I thought dodge could have done better here.

i HAD them on my 04 and they already were corroded. got a set of factory alum. laramie rims from local tire shop for free

3 years and no problems with mine. I haven't had the need to wax the chrome yet.

chrome sucks

the worst part about chrome is that after a while the chrome will eventually either rust or chip off. you would think a $30k-$50k price on a truck they could put some real wheels on it.
