At my 15,000 mile service I plan to change to all Red Line in the drivetrain. Anybody else using this? I would like to know.

This is what I'm getting:
6 speed gearbox - MTL, 5 quarts
transfer case - +C, 3 quarts
both axles - 75w90, 7 quarts

I don't use Red Line myself so I don't know.

I remember some recent discussions about it so a search might get you the info you're looking for. (that's what they always tell me when I have a question. )

I put redline oil in the rear end @ 3,700 - all seems good. Note: the stock gear oil looked nasty.

I put Redline in the 6spd, t-case, and both axles at 49,000. all is well so far.

I'm at a little over 61,000 now

I use it.

Had it in my DMax for over 50,000 miles. When I traded it I put the stock rear cover back on. That lube had the consistancy of brand new oil.

I'll be doing my front and rear tommorrow while installing my Mag Hytec.

I bought a total of 15 quarts @ $7.00 per quart. Shipping is $8.28 FedEx Ground, total was $113.28 I still think myoilshop.com is the best deal.

That's pretty good on shipping. I would have thought it'd been double that if not more. I wish I had known of that place when I lived up there, my wife used to work less than 10 minutes from them.

I called fed ex today to get a shipping quote for a customer in AUS today. To ship 5 sets of bushwacker flares that weigh a total of 97.5 pounds they wanted $1898.xx!!!! I then called my dist to see what it would be to just have them drop ship directly to AUS and they came up with $240.xx through UPS

Redline is a popular oil, it has worked well for many, but it has also produced a number of poor oil analysis reports and is considered kind of an inconsistent product by some. One description that I've heard is that it's a proven 'racing oil', but can sometimes be a problem in long drain interval applications. The 'Bobistheoilguy' forum is a good place to search for such topics, among many others.

jerry r if i was you id avoid myoilshop.com. they screwed my order up, are hateful on the phone, and never answer emails. so my advice to all is avoid MYOILSHOP.COM and buy redline from trusted companies such as summit racing or jegs

I have been using Redline 75W140 in the differential since the original gears went south last year. I had been using DC's expensive stuff so I have no faith in that. So far so good. The six speed is getting MTL in the next couple of weeks.

I put redline MTL for manual trannies in at 6K when I put in a Geno's filter kit for my NV5600. Stock oil looked nasty too. Shifts much smoother now.
