CEL/ACC problem after battery disconnected
CEL/ACC problem after battery disconnected
I had a problem with my Holley pusher pump today. It turns out, I hope, to have been just a failed electrical connection. I replaced the relay and did some connection over.
While doing this I disconnected only the positive battery terminal on the drivers side battery.
When I got everything back together I was so happy the pump was OK and fuel pressure was back then I tried the accelerator pedal and it had a huge delay and was sort of unpredictable. I did a reset after removing the (-) on each battery and I now have the throttle back but I have the CEL on for the first time since purchasing this truck.
I have a code reader and a FSM. I didn't read any codes because it was getting dark and I was ****** off. I looked at the FSM for the grounds the go to G106. Of course this is the one and only ground that the FSM does not include in the list of connections. It shows G106 in the ground diagram and in the locations section but not in the section that spells out what grounds go into G106. I am wondering about G106 specifically because it is the ground that I had the (-) for the relay wired to. When I took the bolt out I thought I heard something drop but I didn't pay attention to this until this problem arose. I don't see any unattached grounds but I noticed there was a square outline under the bolt washer that made it seem like this bolt was securing a ground wire that had a square lug????
If anyone knows what this ground location contains, again it is the left side closest to the cab attaching to the fender, I would greatly appreciate it. Currently I have what I think was the only lug other than my relay lug bolted to this location. The lug has several ground conductors crimped into the single lug.
Thanks
