What do this numbers mean in the type of motor " 305/555" and is it a plus to have a cat. coverter or not???? thanks a Newby

That is a 'late model 03 or a true 2004 model HO (high output). No cat.

Edit- late 03's can be HO and they have the 48RE auto.

Most people like not having a cat. This way you don't have one legally.

The 2004.5 models are 325/600's with a CAT.
You will see many that prefer the 04 and a great many that love their 04.5's

I'm an 04 no cat guy and I like it. 'course I've never driven any 04.5 or newer either.

Dunno what you're really asking, but 305/555 indicates 305 horsepower, 555 lb-ft of torque.
