I am getting ready to turn my 2005 over to fleet service for my employees. My other trucks are all governed between 65 and 70. Does anyone know if this is possible to do with software? I dont want my guys running 75-80 all the time

 

I can set the max speed with my SMARTY. I'm not sure how low it goes but you need to call them on it.

 

The smarty will do it for sure, the min speed it will go is 25, plenty slow.

I bet a dealer could do that with a starscan, too...

 

Our work trucks just have a simple bolt under the pedal..

You could just pull the intercooler tubes off. I guarantee it wont go over 45. Might be a little smokey though

 

Pay them by the hour.
