with his '06 2500. He has an Edge Juice w/attitude, Magnaflow 5" turbo back, and an AEM Brute Force intake, thats it. Told me that when he is driving on the highway, the truck makes a popping sound and he feels hesitation under the pedal. He also said this happens at acceleration. IIRC, he runs the Juice all the way up on the highway to get more fuel economy. I told him he is probably draining the rail and should install a FASS, Glacier, or Air Dog. What do you guys think? Truck is his daily driver, quad hauler, and motorcycle hauler. Thanks guys.

 

I agree with you, he is probably starving for fuel. I'd also check all of the connections, unplug then replug them, though that shouldn't be the issue.

Everytime I've heard descirbe that popping sound, it's been running out of fuel...

 

how many miles on it and has he ever changed the fuel filter, if so how recently.......... start easy and cheap.

 

Truck may have 30k on it, but am not sure. I will tell him to check into fuel systems. Thanks guys.
