Lately I've been having some brake problems. Just before the truck comes to a complete stop, it jerks like the brakes tried to lock up and then it stops. The other day I pulled a code (P-1757 shift sensor and solenoid) and thought that i had seen an earlier post about this tranny issue and braking but now i cant find it. Does anyone think that the 2 are linked. The pads are fairly new and the rotors look good. Also, I called a local transmission shop and got an estimate of about $500 to replace the solenoid and sensor. Does this sound about right?
