This Brake Fluid OK?

I was going to change out my rear calipers in the morning. I just went to check what I had for fluid. Book calls for DOT3. I have a new bottle of Valvoline Syn. Brake Fluid. States it exceeds DOT3 and DOT4 and is full synthetic.

Will this be OK to use? Should I go out and get something different?

The place I purchased the brake parts from recomended Motul RBF 600. I looked it up and it sounds great but no one has it and I would need to order from some web company.

Should I do the brakes with the Valvoline that I have? has anyone used this before?

Thanks

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Much controversary on DOT 5 from my listening post. Manufactures (Dodge included) are reluctant to approve since don't have test results. They are not sure is compatible will all seals, hoses, valves on units in service. Also it may have different viscosity and might not work same with ABS, ect.
Futher if all DOT 3/4 is not completelly removed, any moisture that gets into system will concentrate in small drops of 3/4 fluid left and cause excess corrosion. Have heard complaints that it effervesces gases and makes pedal soft(??).
Bottom line: just use 3/4 and change it every 2 years as you should do anyway. By the way - NEVER FORCE FLUID FROM CALIPER BACK THROUGH ABS AND INTO M-CYL. That fluid is junk.

Sounds like I need to make a trip out for fluid before I start taking the truck apart. Wonder if I can at least burn it in the tank? Dam I was hoping I could get an early start.

Thanks... What is your listening post?
