brake bleeding

brake bleeding

Well i gotta put a new line and bleed my brakes tommarrow(long story onwhy i have to do it) . I've done it before but never on anything with abs. does anyone have any tips to make the job easier. thanks guys

You may need a scan tool to actuate the ABS to let fluid flow while bleeding. I would wait till sombody chimes in that has done it on a newer ram before even touching it. Not sure about our trucks needing a scan tool but many other cars and trucks do. If no tool is needed just start bleeding from the fathest wheel to the closest wheel to the master cylinder.
